Lavyona Andrews, (center right) of Willingboro, and Catherine Jewett, (center left) of Mount Laurel, took first and second place, respectively, in Rowan College at Burlington County’s National Distance Learning Week Scholarship Essay Contest, sponsored by the RCBC Distance Education Office, the RCBC Foundation, and the College Bookstore, which is managed by Follett.
The scholarship is offered by RCBC in honor of National Distance Learning Week. National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) is a program of the United States Distance Learning Association. NDLW is intended to create greater awareness of distance learning and to recognize exceptional leaders and best practices. As part of their essay submissions, winners offer advice and tips to their peers on how to succeed in online courses.
